Bulldogs open home MACCC slate Thursday

PERKINSTON — Mississippi Gulf Coast will celebrate Military and First Responders Appreciation Day at its first home MACCC doubleheader, which has been moved up to Thursday.

The Bulldogs will entertain Itawamba in a 2 p.m. doubleheader at Ross-Smith Field. Buy your tickets ahead of time to save money. It costs $7 for adults or $5 for youth online, or $10 and $7 at the gate. Tickets are available at http://mgcccbulldogs.com/tickets, and the game will be streamed at https://mgcccbulldogs.com/watch.

Service members and veterans of the military, as well as first responders, will be admitted free. They are invited to take part in the on-field pregame ceremony.

  • MGCCC: 18-10/1-1 MACCC, T-5th place in conference
  • Itawamba: 8-13/1-1 MACCC, T-5th place in conference

Previous Meeting

On May 12, 2023, Gulf Coast beat ICC 2-1 in the NJCAA Region 23 Tournament in Ellisville. Olivia Plummer hit a walk-off homer in the seventh to win it for the Bulldogs.

  • Sunday, March 17: vs. Lake County, Perkinston, noon doubleheader
  • Tuesday, March 19: vs. Southwest Mississippi, Perkinston, 2 p.m. doubleheader
  • Friday, March 22: at Holmes, Goodman, 2 p.m. doubleheader
