POPLARVILLE, Miss. — It is just over two months until kickoff for the 2024 Pearl River football, and the Wildcats and head coach Seth Smith have officially unveiled their schedule.

— PRCC Athletics (@PRCCAthletics) June 13, 2024

2024 SCHEDULE
Pearl River hits the road for the first two weeks of the season, traveling to Senatobia Aug. 29 to take on Northwest at 7 p.m. before heading to Fulton Sept. 5 to square off against Itawamba. The meeting between PRCC and ICC is the first since 2019 and begins at 7 p.m.

Pearl River plays its first home game of the season Sept. 12 as Southwest makes the trip to historic Dobie Holden Stadium for the MACCC South Division opener.

The Wildcats head to Decatur Sept. 19 for a 6:30 p.m. matchup against East Central. PRCC continues its road trip Sept. 26 as it takes on archrival Gulf Coast at Perkinston. The 7 p.m. kickoff will mark the 102nd all-time meeting.

For the first time in MACCC history, the schedule now features a bye-week, which will take place Sept. 3. The Wildcats return to the gridiron on Oct. 10 for Homecoming against Copiah-Lincoln before hosting the reigning MACCC Champions, East Mississippi, Oct. 17. It will be the first matchup between EMCC and PRCC since 2019.

Pearl River hits the road for the final time Oct. 24 for a 7 p.m. kickoff against Hinds and returns home Oct. 31 to host rival Jones College.

All games inside Dobie Holden Stadium will get underway at 7 p.m.

ABOUT THE WILDCATS
Pearl River is entering year five under Smith’s guidance and looks to make a major improvement in 2024 — thanks in part to a new addition to the coaching staff. PRCC hired National Champion Offensive Coordinator David Boykin in the offseason to revitalize the Wildcat offense.

Defensively, PRCC has been solid each season during Smith’s tenure, which should stay the same in 2024. PRCC brings back numerous impact players, including cornerback Quandarius Keyes (Laurel). He has seen his recruitment explode in the offseason and holds offers from South Florida, Old Dominion, Memphis, Charlotte, Troy and Western Kentucky.

HOW TO WATCH
The Wildcats will once again livestream all games for free at PRCCMedia.com/gold. Fans who have Roku, Amazon Fire or Apple TV devices can also watch the Wildcat broadcasts by downloading the “Pearl River CC” channel from their app stores.

Ticketing information will be announced soon. Check PRCCAthletics.com for more information.
