PERKINSTON — Laurel Conley picked up Mississippi Gulf Coast’s first award of the young season Tuesday. She earned the MACCC Keeper of the Week after yet another shutout.
The honor was voted on by the conference sports information directors.
The freshman from Ocean Springs has played three college games and hasn’t allowed a goal. She stopped four shots to beat Pensacola State 3-0.
She’s now eligible for NJCAA’s weekly award, which will be announced Wednesday.
