PERKINSTON — Mississippi Gulf Coast begins defense of its 2024 national championship in mid-September with another trip to the Folds of Honor Challenge in Michigan.
The prestigious 54-hole event features a field of mostly four-year schools. It was the only tournament the Bulldogs lost before reeling off 12 straight wins, including the NJCAA Division II Men’s Golf Championship in Joplin, Mo. This year’s Folds of Honor Challenge will be played Sept. 15-17.
The Bulldogs play in the NJCAA Preview in Plymouth, Ind., on Sept. 30 and Oct. 1 before opening conference play in the third MACCC event of the year. Meridian will host the Jim Redgate Invitational on Oct. 7-8.
The Bobcat Invitational will be hosted by Jones in Brandon on Oct. 21.
Gulf Coast will close out the fall slate by hosting the MGCCC Invitational on Oct. 28-29. It will be played at Windance Country Club in Gulfport.
The fall schedule can be found at https://mgcccbulldogs.com/sports/mgolf/2024-25/schedule. The spring schedule will be released later.
