POPLARVILLE, Miss. — No. 6 Pearl River softball’s Natalie Herrington (Petal) was firing on all cylinders last week and for her efforts she has been named the Mississippi Association of Community Colleges Conference Pitcher of the Week for a second week in a row.
Herrington was a driving force in a perfect 5-0 week for the Wildcat softball. She tallied two complete games and picked up one save. Across 14 1/3 innings pitched, Herrington allowed just one earned run and struck out 18 batters. She finished with a 0.49 ERA. The one earned run was the first that Herrington has allowed this season.
THrough 26 1/3 innings pitched, Herrington holds a 0.27 ERA. She has struck out a stellar 35 batters to just six walks.
