Duran Parish poured in 24 points and dished out six assists to lead Mississippi Gulf Coast to a 99-96 overtime win against Coahoma in Clarksdale on Monday.
Parish drove for a go-ahead layup in the final 10 seconds, but the Tigers were able to hit a tying bucket at the buzzer.
The Bulldogs made 5-of-7 shots in the extra session to improve to 13-7 overall, 5-3 MACCC. They remain in fourth place in the conference.
Kaue Kalinowski (Fr., Curitiba Brazil/Divine Savior) had 19 points, and Jabbari Barry (Fr., Lake Charles La./Barbe) scored 17. Anthony Robinson (So., Long Beach/Long Beach) added 12 points, and Larry Lee (Fr., Utica/Raymond) chipped in 10.
Coahoma falls to 9-7, 1-6.
