POPLARVILLE, Miss. — College Sports Communicators announced its 2023-24 Academic All-District At-Large teams on Tuesday, and 16 Pearl River Wildcats were selected.
SELECTIONS
Avery Young (Iota, La.) represents women’s basketball. Natalie Bartholomew (Brandon), Jolee Gibson (Brandon) and Sammie Smith (Biloxi; D’Iberville) earned selections for volleyball. Bryn Daughtery (Vancleave), Morgan Lavergne (Baton Rouge, La.; Central) and Natalie Herrington (Petal) represent softball. Ann Maris Ragan (Flowood; Hartfield Academy), Mackenzie Winters (Ocean Springs) and Celine Grothe (Lübeck, Germany; Carl-Jacob Burkhardt) are women’s soccer’s selections.
Jeff Ince (Brandon; Jackson Prep), Marshall Phillips (Hattiesburg; Sumrall), Creek Robertson (Oxford; Madison Central) and JT Schnoor (Pascagoula; Resurrection) earned selections for baseball. Aden Smith (Biloxi) and Jason Irias (D’Iberville) represented men’s soccer.
WHAT’S NEXT?
Those who were named All-District are now a finalist for the All-America teams. They will now move to the national ballot to be voted on by CSC members. Women’s CSC Academic All-America teams will be announced July 16, while the men’s selections will be announced July 17.
