DIAMONDHEAD, Miss. — The Pearl River golf team opened the spring season on Monday and Tuesday, participating in the Mississippi Gulf Coast Invitational hosted at The Club at Diamondhead. The Wildcats finished the tournament in 13th place after shooting plus-101 on day one and plus-55 on day two.
Cort Miley (Carriere; Pearl River Central) was PRCC’s best finisher of the tournament, shooting plus-18 on day one followed by plus-5 on day two to finish in 37th place.
Brock Craft (Carriere; Pearl River Central) shot 21-over on day one followed by 11-over in the second round to finish in 55th place.
Gavin McClinton (Carriere; Pearl River Central) and Eli Rawls (Picayune; Pearl River Central) finished the tournament in 65th and 66th place, respectively. McClinton shot 48-over and Rawls shot 53-over.
Jake Rogers (Carriere; Pearl River Central) earned 68th place after shooting 83-over across the tournament.
