MERIDIAN, Miss. — The Pearl River golf team looks to improve after the final regular season appearance. The team placed 11th at the Lou Hart Invitational, shooting plus-80 in the first round and an improved plus-57 in the second round.
Brock Craft (Carriere; Pearl River Central) led the Wildcats, going 12 over on the first day and 15 over on the second day of the tournament. He finished in 56th place.
Eli Rawls (Picayune; Pearl River Central) shot plus-16 on the first day and plus-15 on the second, finishing in 59th place.
Cort Miley (Carriere; Pearl River Central) belonged to 63rd place, shooting plus-24 and improving well on the second day for a plus-12 performance.
Noah Webb (Pearl) also improved throughout, shooting plus-33 in the first round and a solid plus-15 in the second leg. He earned 64th place.
Gavin McClinton (Carriere; Pearl River Central) placed 65th, shooting a plus-28, followed by a plus-24.
NEXT UP
Pearl River heads to the MACCC Championship Tournament April 8-9. It will be held at Tunica National Golf Club.
