TUNICA, Miss. — The Pearl River golf team’s season came to an end Monday afternoon at the Missisippi Association of Community Colleges Conference Championship tournament. The Wildcats finished in 11th place after shooting plus-71 in round one and plus-55 in second round action.
Brock Craft (Carriere; Pearl River Central) and Eli Rawls (Picayune; Pearl River Central) were tied for PRCC’s best finish at 47th place with a two-round total of plus-26. Craft shot plus-14 in round one and plus-12 in round two. Rawls shot plus-15 in round one and improved to plus-11 in round two.
Gavin McClinton (Carriere; Pearl River Central) earned 52nd place after shooting plus-34 in the two rounds. McClinton shot plus-18 in the first round and plus-16 in the second round.
Cort Miley (Carriere; Pearl River Central) had a rough first round, shooting plus-28. He improved drastically in round two with a plus-16.
Noah Webb (Pearl) took 55th place with a two-round total of plus-46. He shot 24-over in round one and 22-over in round two.
