PERKINSTON — The Mississippi Gulf Coast women’s soccer team opens its 2024 regular season on Aug. 23, and the Bulldogs will play seven home games.
Under second-year coach Ryan Joiner, Gulf Coast plays Pellissippi State in Fulton to kick off the season. The first game at Bary Thrash Field will be Aug. 28 when East Central visits for a non-conference contest.
Season passes for all Gulf Coast soccer matches, men’s and women’s, are now on sale. They cost $50 for adults and $30 for youths, and they include eight home dates. Five of those are MACCC doubleheaders.
Single-game tickets purchased online cost $7 for adults and $5 for youth. At the gate, it’s $10 for adults and $7 for youth. All online tickets can be purchased at http://mgcccbulldogs.com/tickets.
Last year, the Bulldogs broke the 10-win plateau for the first time since 2016. They earned a trip to the playoffs for the first time since spring 2021.
Gulf Coast opens MACCC play on Sept. 17, again against East Central.
MGCCC plays three exhibition games before the season gets underway. The first is Aug. 6 at William Carey, with a home scrimmage against Mobile University on Aug. 12.
