Mississippi Gulf Coast lost a doubleheader Friday at No. 15 Northwest Mississippi, losing 17-11 and 11-2 in Senatobia.
The Bulldogs are 25-19 overall, 11-13 MACCC.
Gulf Coast outhit NWCC in the first game, piling up 13 hits. Dom Jackson (Fr., Gulf Breeze, Fla./Gulf Breeze) led the attack with three of them, including a homer and double on the way to three RBI.
Brandon Cain (So., Mobile, Ala./Baker) had two hits, including a home run, with three RBI. Jayden Mark (So., Petal/Petal) and Landon Holliman (Fr., Hattiesburg/Sumrall) had two hits each.
Cain and Mark had two more hits in the nightcap.
Gulf Coast will close out the regular season at home next week. The Bulldogs host Meridian on Wednesday and Northeast Mississippi on Saturday.
