PERKINSTON — Mississippi Gulf Coast Football will appear on an ESPN platform again in 2024. The NJCAA announced its complete ESPN+ schedule Friday, and the Bulldogs’ game at Copiah-Lincoln will be televised.

Kickoff for the Game of the Week on Oct. 17 will be 6:30 p.m. in Wesson.

It’s the third national broadcast of a Gulf Coast game. The Bulldogs’ national championship win over Lackawanna in 2019 was aired by CBS Sports Network. Gulf Coast played East Mississippi two years ago on ESPN+.

It’ll be the 90th game against Co-Lin dating back to 1928. Gulf Coast owns a 55-32-2 advantage over the Wolves. The Bulldogs lost last year’s meeting 28-23 before rebounding to share the MACCC title with Co-Lin and Jones.

Co-Lin and Gulf Coast are back-to-back in the preseason NJCAA poll, popping up at 10th and 11th, respectively.

It will be the only MACCC appearance on the NJCAA’s slate of ESPN+ regular-season games. The rest can be found at https://www.njcaa.org/sports/fball/2024-25/releases/20240821jgf8ci.

The NJCAA’s package with ESPN will highlight eight football games, including the playoffs. The NJCAA DI Men’s Soccer Championship semifinals and final will be televised, as will the NJCAA DI Women’s Soccer Championship semifinal and final, NJCAA DI Volleyball Championship placing matches and final, NJCAA DI Men’s Basketball Championship tournament, NJCAA DI Women’s Basketball Championship tournament, NJCAA DI Baseball World Series, and NJCAA DI Softball World Series beginning with the quarterfinals and second round of the elimination bracket.

The championship games in football, men’s basketball and women’s basketball will be broadcast on ESPNU.
