PERKINSTON — Trey Hall and Laurel Conley have been named Bulldogs of the Week for Sept. 23-29.
Hall, a sophomore running back from Vicksburg, had another sensational night for No. 4 Mississippi Gulf Coast in a 41-14 win over archrival Pearl River. He ran 12 times for 171 yards and three scores, including touchdown scampers of 60 and 70 yards. In the last four games, he’s rushed 59 times for 597 yards, a 10.1 yard-per-carry clip.
Conley, a freshman from Ocean Springs, had a busy week in goal for No. 20 Mississippi Gulf Coast. She stopped two shots in a 1-1 tie at Copiah-Lincoln, then made a series of spectacular saves among 14 stops in a 2-1 loss to No. 1 Northwest Mississippi.

Tylan Cole, a sophomore defensive lineman from Meridian, had seven total tackles and a sack to lead the Bulldogs in a 41-14 win over Pearl River.
Connor Mullins, a freshman kicker/punter from Brandon, averaged 41.7 yards on three punts in Gulf Coast’s win over Pearl River. He also handled all kickoff duties and made all five of his PAT attempts.
Linda Mustered, a freshman forward from Biloxi, had a late tying goal in a showdown against No. 1 Northwest Mississippi. The Rangers came back and got a last-second goal.
David Ruiz Ospina, a sophomore from Manizales, Colombia, teamed for a shutout in a 7-0 win over Northwest Mississippi. He had three saves in a 2-2 tie at Copiah-Lincoln.
