PERKINSTON — Mississippi Gulf Coast placed three players on the All-MACCC Baseball Team, led by slugger Dom Jackson.
Jackson was named to the First Team, with hot-hitting Marc Stephens and two-way star Brandon Cain on the Second Team.
Jackson, an outfielder-first baseman from Gulf Breeze, Fla., batted .349 with 13 home runs and 52 RBI in his freshman season. He finished fifth in the conference in homers.
Stephens, a sophomore shortstop from Orange Beach, Ala., led the MACCC with .435 batting average. He finished second with a .539 on-base percentage and drove in 36 runs. Stephens was an All-MACCC Honorable Mention selection as a freshman.
Cain, a sophomore from Mobile, Ala., batted .359 with five home runs and 29 RBI. He also went 5-1 on the mound.
