POPLARVILLE, Miss. — Pearl River football’s Keenan Franks (State Line; Greene County) and volleyball’s Madison Butler (Biloxi; D’Iberville) have been named Wildcats of the Week.

KEENAN FRANKS
Although Franks saw limited action in the first two games of the season, the freshman had a breakout game for the Wildcats in last week’s 27-17 victory over Southwest.

In a game where the Wildcats registered 318 yards rushing, Franks had the bulk of the yardage. The freshman carried the ball 23 times for an incredible 141 yards and two touchdowns, averaging 6.1 yards per carry in the contest.

MADISON BUTLER
Butler shined in a 1-1 week for the Wildcats, picking up assists on 37 kills throughout the week. Additionally, she added in four service aces and picked up a rare kill on the offensive side.

Defensively, Butler tallied 24 digs across the two matches.

Butler has been a standout for the Wildcats this season. She leads the team in assists with 218. She also has 129 digs and 11 service aces.
