POPLARVILLE, Miss. — Pearl River Community College took home an unprecedented four championships during the 2003-04 school year, winning titles in football, men’s soccer, men’s basketball and baseball. In celebration of the 20th anniversary of the incredible feat, the Wildcats will honor those teams and their members July 26 at the annual Pearl River Athletics Hall of Fame celebration held at Hollywood Casino & Resort in Bay St. Louis.

July 26 will feature the annual four-person scramble golf tournament at 9 a.m. at The Bridges, a social hour at the Hollywood beginning at 6 p.m. and the Hall of Fame ceremony at 7 p.m.

Tickets for the banquet are $100, and golf teams are $600. Tickets can be secured at PRCCAthletics.com/Tickets and can ONLY be purchased in advance. No walk-up tickets are available. The deadline to purchase tickets is July 10.

The 2024 Hall of Fame class is comprised of Jack Byrd, Emil Jones, Pamela Munger, Nick Smith and Walt Thomas. This year’s Spirit of a Wildcat Award recipients are Marjory and Bobby Thrash.
