HANCEVILLE, Ala. — The Pearl River volleyball team closed out the Alabama/Mississippi Crossover Tournament on Sunday, taking on Snead State and Calhoun. The Wildcats fell 3-1 (16-25, 20-25, 25-19, 19-25) to the Parsons and 3-0 (14-25, 18-25, 15-25) to the Warhawks.

Pearl River (3-10 overall) fell behind in the early going of its first match of the day, dropping set one 25-16 and set two 25-20. PRCC recovered in the third set, fending off defeat with a 25-19 victory. Snead State put a close to the opening match in the fourth set, winning it 25-19.

The second match was all Warhawks. After Calhoun took the opening set, Pearl River fought hard in the second set but dropped it 25-18. The Warhawks had all the momentum and took care of business in set three, 25-15.
