POPLARVILLE, Miss. —  After leading their respective teams to victory last week, Pearl River football’s Morgan Craft and women’s soccer’s Anna Grace Deakle (Gulfport) have been named Wildcats of the Week.

MORGAN CRAFT
Craft put together an incredible game for Pearl River last week, leading the Wildcats to victory over East Central with his leg. The freshman went 3-for-3 on field goals, nailing kicks from 38, 34 and 32 yards. His 32-yard field goal resulted in a walk-off 23-20 victory for the Wildcats. He also went 2-for-2 on his extra-point attempts.

On the season, Craft is 4-for-6 on field goals and a perfect 8-for-8 on extra-point attempts.

ANNA GRACE DEAKLE
Deakle has been an incredibly valuable defender for the Wildcats over the last two seasons, and that was no different last week. The sophomore helped PRCC pick up a clean sheet win 1-0 on the road against Southwest and then helped limit Copiah-Lincoln to one goal in a 6-1 victory.

In the game against the Wolves, Deakle helped get the scoring started for PRCC. She delivered a perfect pass up the pitch to a teammate for an assist on a goal.
