PERKINSTON — Jorja Roberson has added another impressive award to her sophomore season haul, being named to the National Fastpitch Coaches Association All-American Team.
The sophomore outfielder from Branyan earned NJCAA Division II Second Team honors after her outstanding season.
She led the Bulldogs with 12 home runs and 50 RBI, sixth-best in the conference. She batted .386 and finished in the top 10 in the MACCC in runs (57), hits (66), doubles (17), triples (3), walks (25), on-base percentage (.475) and slugging (.731). Roberson has been named to the All-MACCC and All-NJCAA Region 23 teams already this year.
