PERKINSTON — Mississippi Gulf Coast will salute nine softball players Saturday during Sophomore Day ceremonies between games of an MACCC doubleheader against Coahoma.

The Bulldogs will salute Kylie Burnette (So., Picayune/Picayune), Jett Harrell (So., Clarksdale/Lee Academy), Olivia Keith (So., Crestview, Fla./Crestview), Kamryn LaFosse (So., Lake Charles, La./Sam Houston), CC Lynn (So., Waynesboro/Wayne County), Kylee Necaise (So., Gulfport/West Harrison), Jorja Roberson (So., Branyan/East Union), Natalie Shaw (So., Olive Branch/Marshall Academy) and Abi Williams (So., Columbia/Columbia Academy).

- MGCCC split with No. 12 East Central on Wednesday at Decatur. The Bulldogs lost 4-3 in the first game but won 6-5 in the nightcap.
- Coahoma lost 13-1 and 12-1 to Northwest Mississippi on Wednesday in Senatobia. Both games ended in the fifth inning.
