Week three of the current prep football season kicks off tonight, with games being played in Pascagoula, Moss Point and Gautier.
At War Memorial Stadium in Pascagoula, the annual “Singing River Classic” is renewed as the Panthers host visiting rival Gautier.
In Gautier, Resurrection gets back to Jackson County after playing its first road contest of the season as the Eagles host Richton.
And on Dantzler Street in Moss Point, the home-standing Tigers host St. Stanislaus for Homecoming.

While co-owner Richard Chenoweth took care to preserve the building’s unique history, including preserving the old jail cell where prisoners were held until they could appear in court, and an old vault. But the Scranton’s experience is more than simply history.
