Sam attended the University of South Alabama, receiving a Bachelor's degree and a Master's degree. While attending USA I worked in the athletic department for media relations and fan experience. I was also a public speaking TA for the university. I am currently the Communications/Media Specialist for the City of Gautier. Sports are a huge part of my life, and something that I have been passionate about since I was a child. As a former high school and collegiate athlete, I enjoy writing for 228 Sports and shining a light on deserving local athletes.
