PERKINSTON — Mississippi Gulf Coast outfielder Jorja Roberson continues to pile up the postseason awards. She was named to the NJCAA All-American Third Team after her great 2024 softball season.
Roberson led the Bulldogs with 12 home runs and 50 RBI, both of which ranked sixth in the MACCC. She hit .386 and was an MACCC top-10 performer in runs (57), hits (66), doubles (17), triples (3), walks (25), on-base percentage (.475) and slugging (.731).
Roberson has been named to the National Fastpitch Coaches Association All-American Second Team, the All-NJCAA Region 23 Team, NFCA All-Region Team and All-MACCC First Team.
The sophomore from Branyan will continue her collegiate career at NCAA Division I North Alabama.
She’s the 11th Bulldogs to be named an All-American, with Rakeya Travis the last to win the award in 2021.
