POPLARVILLE, Miss. — Solid showings for their respective teams have earned Pearl River softball’s Morgan Lavergne (Baton Rouge, La.; Central) and baseball’s Konnor Graham (Hammond, La.) the Wildcats of the Week award.

MORGAN LAVERGNE
Lavergne was an important part of No. 5 Pearl River’s 3-1 week on the diamond. The shortstop wrapped up the week with a .467 batting average, a .529 on-base percentage and a .600 slugging percentage. She racked up seven hits, five RBIs, three runs, two doubles and two walks.

Lavergne is turning in another incredible season for the Wildcats. Through 47 games, Lavergne is hitting .409 with 15 doubles, seven homers and four triples. She has driven in 33 runs and scored 52. The sophomore has also walked 16 times and swiped 11 bags.

KONNOR GRAHAM
Graham earns the award after a pair of great relief outings for the Wildcats. Graham inherited a pair of runners against No. 4 East Central and picked up two punchouts to end the threat. He then threw a scoreless inning against NJCAA Division I foe No. 20 Chipola.

Graham has thrown 12 1/3 innings for the Wildcats this season and has an ERA of 2.92. He has struck out 15 batters, bringing his strikeouts per nine innings ratio to 10.95. He has allowed just four runs on the year.
