Vermue named Bulldog of the Week

PERKINSTON — Danique Vermue has been named Bulldog of the Week for April 28-May 5.

The freshman from s-Heerenhoek, Netherlands won both her matches on the first day of the NJCAA Division I Women’s Tennis Championship. She beat Marion Military’s Jenna Beach 6-1, 6-1 at No. 2 singles, then teamed with Angela Moreno to win their No. 1 doubles match over Wallace State’s Lilly Brown and Alexandra Luders 6-3, 6-3.
